This wasn’t a mani/pedi kind of afternoon off, although I really wish it was. 

I came down with a nasty virus last night and felt much worse today. I went to the doctor first thing this morning to have them test for strep, and luckily my results were negative. 

I decided to go back to work which was a bad idea. I wasn’t productive and felt miserable so I left work early.  And although I would have loved to use the time to get my nails done,  I’m grateful that I was able to get some much needed rest on my afternoon off.
